After the purchase of V21.co.uk by BISCit, it soon became clear that the BISCit
management had no idea what to do about the many V21 dialup customers signed up
directly or through VISPs like uk24net.co.uk.
Existing customers had a bumpy ride through the change over process, but progress
seemed to be being made.
However, as BISCit were unable to confirm future arrangements for VISPs and the
users signed up through them, all sign up links on the UK24net pages were removed.
As the migration to BISCit servers continued, the UK24net admin pages stopped working
and the replacements offered little or no information.
As BISCit is now in administration, and
BT
are providing MAC Codes to BISCit broadband customers on their system,
any remaining UK24Net dialup and broadband users are recommended to officialy cancel
their accounts by writing to BISCit.
Both Breathe who tried but failed to reach agreement on the acquisition of Biscit Internet and fast4 (run by former V21 Directors), provide dialup internet access at reasonable rates.
